Ron Hardt & Ron Hetteen

  • Stones Throw Brewery 1009 Larrabee Avenue Bellingham, WA, 98225 United States (map)

Ron Hardt and Ron Hetteen bring together decades of musical experience, drawing from a wide range of styles and influences to create an engaging and memorable live performance.

Ron Hardt began playing guitar and singing at age 13. In the 1970s, his band Mickey Ratt played throughout Southern California, sharing bills with Alex and Eddie Van Halen’s band Mammoth before they became the legendary Van Halen. Over the years, Hardt has continued to hone his craft with his own band, The Stratocats, and has performed with numerous respected artists and groups, including Crossroads, Johnny Starr and the Galaxy, Good Rockin’ Daddy, Russell Ferrante of The Yellowjackets, blues legend Floyd Dixon, and Tommy Salyers of the Laurie Morvan Blues Band. A true musical chameleon, he draws inspiration from many genres and focuses on the great songwriters of his generation, performing favorites by The Beatles, James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Elton John, Billy Joel, and many more—along with familiar forgotten gems that keep audiences guessing.

Ron Hetteen is a Pacific Northwest multi-instrumentalist and vocalist whose musical journey has taken him through folk, rock, blues, jazz, and big band music. He performed extensively on Maui for several decades in a variety of settings, from solo and duo acts to trios and larger ensembles. Now living north of Seattle, Hetteen remains an active performer as a member of La Rotonda Jazz, guitarist for the Camano Junction Big Band, and collaborator on numerous other musical projects.

Together, Hardt and Hetteen combine rich musical backgrounds, seasoned musicianship, and a shared passion for great songs, delivering a diverse repertoire that spans generations and genres.
