Skip the Flowers, Send Hope Instead: A Family Friendly Fundraiser
In April, Nurse Nicole will travel to Kenya to live and volunteer at Children of the Rising Son Orphanage and School. She’ll be joining Cathy, a Nurse Practitioner from Lopez Island who has faithfully served the orphanage for the past 10 years. Together, they will provide medical care, health education, and vital resources—while also supporting the children with food, clothing, basic needs, and joyful experiences like field trips.
10% of sales from 5-9pm at Stones Throw will be donated. Every dollar raised goes directly to the children.

Once a month, High Mountain String Band's Andy Bunn, invites neighborhood songwriters to perform at Stones Throw for a night of musical delight.
The showcase features three to four local songwriters, each sharing their unique stories through music. Whether you're a music enthusiast, a lover of lyrics, or simply looking for a great night out, grab some friends and come support a rotating roster of local artists and non-profits.
The Neighborhood Songwriters are committed to communty. As a part of our dedication to the community that sustains us, we donate half of the proceeds from each event to various local non-profits on a rotating basis. Your attendance not only empowers these gifted artists but also supports important causes, infusing every note and chord with a deeper sense of purpose. Through shared commitment, we can create a meaningful impact and foster unity within our community.

Winterfest Bonfire
On December 5th, as part of the Fairhaven Firelight Stroll festivities, Stones Throw Brewery will extend its beer garden, creating a cozy atmosphere with tents, and a large bonfire. Guests can indulge in our specially made Winterfest Ale, a lovely beer bursting with the flavor of holiday spice. $1 per pint of these beer sales will be donated to the Fairhaven Association to help with the lighting of the Fairhaven Village during the dark months. Good Neighbor Night with the WWU Ecological Restoration Club
Join us for our first Good Neighbor Night of 2026! This month, we're proud to support the WWU Ecological Restoration Club. The mission of the Ecological Restoration Club is to create a community of students passionate about taking care of the land, sea, and each other - through hands-on work, connecting with professionals, and organizing events. They will be running environmental trivia, with sweet prizes from Stones Throw and other awesome local businesses. Come hang out, learn something new, and support community stewardship led by undergraduate students! 10% of beer sales from 5-9pm will be donated to support their work.

JP Valentine
A Berklee College of Music graduate now living in the Pacific Northwest, JP Valentine performs on acoustic guitar with a wide-ranging set of songs spanning the past 70 years. Rooted primarily in rock, punk, and pop, his performances occasionally weave in R&B when the moment calls for it, delivering an energetic and engaging acoustic sound.

Kady Fox
Kady Fox is a singer-songwriter based on Orcas Island, WA, known for her powerful voice and deep bluesy vibes. She plays acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and piano, landing somewhere in the middle of folk, blues, and soul. Mixing heartfelt originals with fresh takes on covers from every era, Kady brings a perfect mix of raw emotion and pure joy to every performance.
Free Harmony
Chuck Dingée and Sharon Mayson’s beautiful vocals are what make Free Harmony unique and a treat to listen to. They started singing together in 2017 and have been busy entertaining people in the Northwest ever since. They are joined by Lee Pence on lead guitar. Together they play an entertaining mix of songs ranging from the 60s to present, by artists like Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles, Emmylou Harris, John Denver, Indigo Girls, The Police, Pink Floyd, Eagles, Bonnie Raitt, and many others. In March 2019, Free Harmony was opening act for the band America at the Tulalip and Legends Casinos in Washington state.

New Years Eve Party! Celebrate Twice!
Celebrate the New Year twice at Stones Throw Brewery!
Ring in the New Year with a double dose of live music: Lost at Last plays from 6–9pm, followed by Andy “Badd Dog” Koch with Daddy Treetops and Yogoman from 9:30-midnight! The brews will be flowin’ and the mulled wine pourin’ (21+).
We’ll broadcast the NYC Ball Drop at 9pm and again at midnight, so you can toast twice. As always, the event is free, all ages, and welcoming of outside food and friendly pups.
Good Neighbor Night with the Working Waterfront Coalition
Join us for our final Good Neighbor Night of 2025 as we support the Working Waterfronts Coalition with 10% of sales from 5–9pm, featuring community connection, great beer, and a year-end celebration.
