The Millie Project is a local 501(c)(3) supporting Are You My Human?, Bellingham’s only rescue dog lounge. Funds help provide medical care, transport, and a safe, joyful space where rescue dogs meet their future families. 10% of all sales from 5-9pm at Stones Throw Brewery will be donated.

The Millie Project was created in honor of Millie, a beloved golden retriever who represented unconditional love, resilience, and second chances. Our mission is to support rescue dogs by funding programs that focus on wellness, confidence-building, and successful lifelong placement.  We believe every dog deserves the same chance at love and safety that Millie had. Are You My Human? is a community-based rescue dog lounge located in Bellingham, Washington. Unlike a traditional shelter, AYMH provides a calm, home-like environment where rescue dogs can decompress, socialize, gain confidence, and meet their future families in a welcoming space. The Millie Project proudly funds programs, wellness support, and resources that directly benefit the dogs cared for at Are You My Human?.  While our long-term vision includes supporting multiple rescue partners, AYMH is currently our primary beneficiary because their innovative, enrichment-focused model makes a meaningful difference for dogs who struggle in traditional shelter environments.  

Our funding helps provide:

• Behavior and decompression support  

• Enrichment tools and supplies  

• Adoption readiness and family education  

• Post-adoption guidance to ensure lasting placements
