Book Club is the first Tuesday of each month! The book we are reading throughout November is Tulalip, From My Heart by Harriette Shelton Dover.
Tulalip, From My Heart: An Autobiographical Account of a Reservation Community by Harriette Shelton Dover is a firsthand account of life as a Tulalip Tribal member in the early 20th century. Drawing from oral history and personal experience, Dover shares stories of resilience, cultural survival, and identity amid the impacts of colonization and government assimilation efforts, including boarding schools. Through her voice, the book preserves the traditions, struggles, and strength of the Tulalip people, offering an intimate, powerful portrait of a Native community’s endurance and pride.
We are also now registered with Village Books, which means you can get 15% off our book club book if you tell them at checkout that its for the Stones Throw Brewery Book Club.
